Co-founded by Dr. Sherry “Dr. Jay” Johnson and Dr. Paul Johnson, Catalysts brings together educational expertise, family advocacy, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and community connection. We equip individuals and families with practical knowledge, supportive relationships, and opportunities to take meaningful action.

Catalysts is a community empowerment organization where education is the foundation of transformation. The work is not a collection of unrelated programs. Meet the Founders
Dr. Sherry “Dr. Jay” Johnson is co-founder and executive director. She brings 27 years of educational experience, leadership in math and instructional coaching, parent advocacy, and financial education.
Dr. Paul Johnson is co-founder and a longtime university educator. Together they lead Catalysts as educators and community builders.
